An Introduction to EXPRESSIONS!

How often have you found yourself stuck amidst a situation, where you’ve not been able to put your sensations, sentiments and thoughts into words?

Especially if you are an introvert, an emotional person, a person with a different frequency, thought process, a person who chooses a path un-tread, one who has a different perspective, or to simply say…a person who knows no comparison but just loves being oneself and is in a never ending quest of discovering and evolving.

This blog is an attempt to give words to the real time thoughts and sentiments- experienced and observed.

Un-ignored ME!

Flipping through several pages on web, my focus I feel is a little out of place. After long my mind is set free from work and I’m finding it hard to write for myself.

Weird are these words coming from a person who is a writer by profession but that’s what I believe happens to most of us. A conflict like this is a peculiar scenario, especially for those who have creative instincts, whom I quote as Unstable Creative Elements (UCE).

I often wonder how one can survive with myriad of thoughts jostling in your head. The moment you grab one idea and begin to pull it through, you are beckoned by another in an insidious manner. Trying not to let go off the first one, we stretch to grab an end of the second one too and snap goes the sound in your head… as if a third thought flash-passed through you, giving you a swooning fit. Whew!

Yes, it is true little focus and lots to do. Priority shifts position every second.

These dissipated rays of innovation, hope collate some day, to illumine an unseen path, so I can take a sound walk with my thoughts in peace, listening to them and crafting their untold stories. They have longed my attention and even I’ve waited for them till long… Hope someday I find peace in the lap of nature, brimmed with tranquility, feeling one and complete…all by myself, with an un-ignored ME!

Dangling Desires

Wandering without focus in the dessert of desires, I often fall upon the ground to taste the sands of time. With liquid dreams of a world so plush, I clutch the grainy-gold, bringing it close to my chipped lips; I close my flooded eyes and blow it gently like my wishful eyelash…

Perils of the Sea, make the Pearl worthy!!!

For this who don't understand this language of the sea!!!....try diving into deep waters of LIFE that bring you challenging tides, dangerous-jaws and unimaginable hazards…and once you reach the sea bed and touch the pearl lazing in an oyster you feel you heart palpitate in absolute amazement and achievement!!!!

And you feel so not only because of the beauty of the pearl but…for the efforts you put in to find this rare craft of nature which not all can dare to fathom. Thus pearl is a pearl coz it’s rare to find had it been easily available on a roadside it would cost nothing but peanuts!

That’s why I say “Perils of the sea, make the pearl worthy”!!!!

Owly

Ogling owl on the perch
Awaits the night of pleasure
When the dark would cast its spell
With moon’s radiating white bedspread
And disturbing noises would settle to laze
Deep down in the dreamy haze
Then shall it take a flight
Junket the entire night

BLUE-A sunken story

BLUE, that’s exactly what you’ll feel after watching this flick. Well if you are thinking that the storyline is really titillating and engrossing then watch out. I say you’ll be blue as you’ll be clueless about the plot and all you’ll remember is the sea life, diving and little playful tricks underwater, the bikini shots and the biking.

The dialogues are lame, the characters are weak, and the lucidity of the story line is missing. Though there are instances where you’ll feel the heat of thrilling action building up but believe me all you’ll be grabbing onto is sheer disappointment. There’s nothing left for your speculation rather all is obvious. Climax, just doesn’t exist as half way through the movie, you’ll know for yourself, who is the man and what are his intensions behind the entire goof up.

One thing that works as a healer to this disaster is the music score by AR Rehman, kudos to him. But yet again the much hyped and expensive performance by Kylie Minougue constitutes of only 5 to 6 times of the Chiggy –Wiggy step and then Akshay and the gang takes over.

Zeroing down to the action, in the movie. Then the biking too is far beyond the Dhoom standards. A little hits and missed underwater are ok and the gun shots at Sanjay’s house are pointless. And if you are an Akshay’s action fan, again all your hopes will be shattered.

In the entire movie Sanjay’s character (Sagar/ Seth ji) is keeping the secret of the “Lady in Blue” under covers but when the reality of what happened and why he had been concealing the treasure comes to light. It might be a little sentimental but a big hole in the plot.

By the end of it all, the director has kept the ending of the movie and the relationships of the Good and the Bad gang, open for his viewers.

All I can say is, despite so much water the thirst for the THRILL in the movie is still unquenched. Or should I say…the script of the movie got washed off in the BLUE waters…

Engrieved (Interpretation of the song IKATARA -Wake up Sid!)

Witnessing the present I feel future is so uncertain. And as I travel back in time, with a string of memory, on this journey of lifeI feel silly and small for sweating over tiny things.
It’s funny how we react to the momentary incidents, so un-mind-fully and impulsivelyand do not understand the value of our actions and words.
And give all the chances for misconceptions, misunderstandings and distances to dwell, nurture and grow beyond, over and above the size of life.
Our ego balloons- to cover all our vision and sight. It not only "dams" (blocks) but also "damns" (finds fault) our trust and faith.
In a moment all is lost and scattered.
And when the same dreams shatter, ones that you had crafted all days and nights, your eyes wishfully closed. They spill pain and grief with the eyes closed, now mourning over the broken hopes. Not wanting to see and face the truth-the grave of our aspirations.
It hurts and makes you so low on confidence that you don't want to dream again. Live again. Have faith again.
You loose yourself and surrender to the situation, feel numb and mute to the chaos in your life though the pain in your heart is unbearable. Looking time and again in the pile of acts, for that- one missing link which turned your joy upside down. Reflecting on the sequence of events. You some how find the courage, sit back, lean on your broken faith and look at the distant picture to have an overview of the complete story. But the shots of those happy moments make you both smile and cry in the agony of the great moments that exist no longer.

It Spilt

I did nothing!!!...Like the boiling milk my feelings simply spilt. Spread all over. I knew not what to do with it next??? I tried to collect it and wipe it off before anyone saw it, but it flowed. I felt abashed…but it soon became a river. Clear and flowing. I felt like taking a dip into it and wanted to play and splash it around. I felt like a teenager. But that’s not how it goes…suddenly my hand jerked the bottle of ink and it crashed on the floor, the glass shattered….ink spilt on the floor…looked like a blue sky but it was getting late. The sun was setting, birds returning, it got darker gradually…the words in my book got harder to read and I dug into the book to catch them…soon mom came and switched on the lamp and the light spilt...

Silence in Noise

Have you ever got lost?
Well I don't mean literary but like into your own world. And I am not talking about your dream world either but your world of thoughts or may be in the noises around you?
Well I ask so because lately it has been happening to me. No matter whether I am with my family or friends or a at a place with complete strangers around me. I feel numb and dumb. Absolutely sensationless. As if afloat in my own thoughland. Practicing silence in the noisiest of places, as though was invisible to people and no matter what I do doesn't bother them at all. And to my amazement I felt certain amount of peace spreading all throughout me. Felt like keeping mum like this for quite a while now, untill the silence spills over from my eyes, nose, eaars and mouth. And when my whole being is formatted with this internal peace I wish to return to this big bad world. It seems there is some conncetion between this peace and my tempramenst these days. Seems like I have lost my cool and balance of mind. I am just flowing along with the flow and getting all displaced from my path of destination. I see a distant sight of me, that I was, from where today I am and alos how I want to be. But with the circumstances around and the unexpected situations that life poses, things take a small degree of turn here and there, making it all go haywire. Trying to grab controll but it is just going all away. And it is only in this silence that I feel myself. I don't want to be an idol of sacrifices but want to be me. People call this selfishness, but I ask how does it matter. I am not doing something obscene or with bad intent, but for my growth and knowledge. After all we are here on earth to learn. there's not just this external world but also a world within us. I want to experiment, I want to be free, liberated, with no watch dogs.

Cheap Dedications

Dear Novice Romantics, It’s good to idolize the love of Shahjahan. What he got done was a constructive way of showcasing all the love for his beloved, with all the wealth he had. We know it’s impossible to put up a pompous show like him, but oh the ashiq’s of today, why go about scarring every monument? That too for a love that might die a sudden death at the glimpse of another woman walking past you… Instead of flaunting your insensitivity on these historical gems, try something original & constructive than putting all efforts to scribble cheap dedications.
