The Other Side of Life

Life can often be bewildering. You can’t always call it unfair but it can certainly be absurd and astounding. Events keep happening uncontrollably, leaving you exhausted. As you try coping with it, thinking you’ve had enough, deserve better and no more of it, there’s something else awaiting you. Each time it's a new experience, demanding in many ways, monetarily, mentally, physically and emotionally. Leaving you exhausted.

Such moments, if you notice, make you more mature, experienced, strong and weak at the same time. You lose a great deal of yourself, acquire few new traits, recollected your shattered self and discover a new side of you too. All of it is disturbing enough, and would mostly leave you wondering… how would it be to have a smooth and peacefully perfect life?

And that’s when you sense this feeling of undoing and redoing situations/ behaviours to make it all work perfectly. You keenly imagine the other side of life. Had it not been this way, how beautiful would it be. But then deep down somewhere you know, there would have been some other aspect or adversity, which could have been much graver. So much that of course you cannot imagine, quite like you never imagined this phase of life.

But you see how human mind is, always keen on the other side of life, the other side of the coin, the other side of a person or may be self and how we always find the grass greener on the other side. There's certainly a pull on the other side, the probabilities of possibilities that keep us unsatisfied and leave us manipulating.

Truly the other side can be anything, it can be full of rosy fantasies or unbearable horrors. Which is why life keeps throwing a blend of experiences because we can never manage balancing ourselves on the either edges always.

Colorful Tomorrow

Each day brings a brighter vision of what lies ahead. Come whatever may in life, never leave hope. No matter how hard the times are, never stop dreaming. What the sight can’t see, the vision can. Look up in the sky, with a heart full of faith, and you’ll spot colors even in the dullest moments of your life. Because 'in the fading moments of today, lie the foundations of a colorful tomorrow...'

A friend to LISTEN!

F-R-I-E-N-D-S: People with whom you can be yourself. You have not to please them forcefully. No formalities attached. People with whom moments become precious and time flies faster than never before.

Right from being a toddler to whatever your age is now, we all have shook hands to bond with so many friends. And yes, har ek friend zaroori hota hai, likewise we all need a friend to listen. One who lets you talk and reflect. Who can fill in the silence and unsaid sentiments with a smile and soothe you. You vent out and confess things without apprehensions. And soon you see the picture clearer as the pieces of the puzzle come together.

A friend to listen, a heart to share…
One who gives you vision in moments of despair…

Empty your trash and travel along the winds of change…

If you ever happen to be sad, perturbed or feel less loved, close your eyes, rewind your life and play it slowly. Recollect every single person you have come across, see and sense all of it again. The constellation of your memories will take you down the lanes of nostalgia, where you can relive and witness all the moments gone by, from a distance. When you look at them afresh after so long; you will experience a childlike innocence- full of inquisitiveness. Once you watch the sequence of events unravel you will be awestruck at the revelations on the other side, which have silently lain unnoticed and went amiss in the heat of the moment. You would, now be able to see the complete picture and see through it, which would join the loose ends of the thread that have till now created unrest in you.

Some of these moments will bring you a curvaceous smile, some just a smirk, other might make you blush as well. However, you might as well encounter moments that you have feared, that have left you scarred and have had deep and dark impacts on you. Don’t run away then, face them, fight them and sail through them with a hope to see a bright light awaiting you at the end of this dark tunnel. You might as well come across people who gave you all that misery, look into their eyes and tell them with utmost truth that you have forgiven them and they are liberated from your hatred and grudge that you bear in your heart. Say it as many times as you can and say it till you feel at peace. Empty your trash, free yourself of all your grudges and let go.

Soon the tranquility of spectacular sceneries, precious and joyous moments, smiling faces of your loved ones and all the fun memories will come rushing to you, in an embrace. It is then you would move on in life and be a free soul, light as a leaf ready to travel along the winds of change…

Engrieved (Interpretation of the song IKATARA -Wake up Sid!)

Witnessing the present I feel future is so uncertain. And as I travel back in time, with a string of memory, on this journey of lifeI feel silly and small for sweating over tiny things.
It’s funny how we react to the momentary incidents, so un-mind-fully and impulsivelyand do not understand the value of our actions and words.
And give all the chances for misconceptions, misunderstandings and distances to dwell, nurture and grow beyond, over and above the size of life.
Our ego balloons- to cover all our vision and sight. It not only "dams" (blocks) but also "damns" (finds fault) our trust and faith.
In a moment all is lost and scattered.
And when the same dreams shatter, ones that you had crafted all days and nights, your eyes wishfully closed. They spill pain and grief with the eyes closed, now mourning over the broken hopes. Not wanting to see and face the truth-the grave of our aspirations.
It hurts and makes you so low on confidence that you don't want to dream again. Live again. Have faith again.
You loose yourself and surrender to the situation, feel numb and mute to the chaos in your life though the pain in your heart is unbearable. Looking time and again in the pile of acts, for that- one missing link which turned your joy upside down. Reflecting on the sequence of events. You some how find the courage, sit back, lean on your broken faith and look at the distant picture to have an overview of the complete story. But the shots of those happy moments make you both smile and cry in the agony of the great moments that exist no longer.
